SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

In collaboration with the shipping and warehouse supervisor, the storekeeper is in charge of ensuring the logistics of the store as well as supporting the receiver when receiving the goods. In addition, the storekeeper is a key person to support the production team in requests for parts and raw materials. More concretely, the storekeeper will be in charge of performing the following tasks.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support production in parts requests and prepare orders;
• Receive the goods and store them in the appropriate spaces;
• Move merchandise manually, using a pallet truck or forklift (propane or electric);
• Update inventory using a scanner;
• Organize the return of parts to the supplier;
• Contact carriers to schedule shipments or pickups;
• Update some Excel spreadsheets on the computer;

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: starting at $20.48 per hour
