JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Welder/Assembler will be responsible for the following tasks:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow assembly and welding (copper soldering) sequences, etc.;
  • Position parts using templates, supports, etc.;
  • Use the appropriate soldering equipment according to procedure (e.g., band saw);
  • Check the positioning, dimensions, and squareness of parts before soldering;
  • Mark parts, openings, cutting lines, etc., for positioning;
  • Assemble, cut, solder, grind, drill, and grind;
  • Check soldering and identify defects during production;
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools;
  • Perform required quality checks and report any non-compliant operations or products;
  • Other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalent;
  • Experience in cutting, drilling, and assembling finished products; grinding and cleaning;
  • Demonstrate organization, initiative, attention to detail, and resourcefulness;
  • Work as part of a team to achieve production goals;
  • Be independent, resourceful, and versatile;
  • Experience in manufacturing (an asset).
