Information we collect

Comments

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered into the comments form, your IP address and user agent are collected to help us detect undesirable comments. An anonymous chain created from your email account may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are, in fact, a legitimate user. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been validated, your profile photo will be public and will appear alongside your comment.

Medias

If you are a registered user and upload images onto the website, we advise you not to use GPS EXIF data as visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

Cookies

If you make a comment on our website, you will be asked to register your name, email and website in cookies. This is done in an effort to avoid having to enter the information again should you want to make subsequent comments. Cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and are connected on this website, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal information and will automatically be deleted when you close your browser.

When you connect, a number of cookies are put in place to register your connection information and your screen preferences. The lifecycle of connection cookie is of two days while that of a screen option cookie is a year. If you tick the “Remember me” box, your connection cookie will be saved for a two-week period. If you disconnect from your account, the connection cookie will be erased.

By modifying or publishing a publibaction, an additional cookie will be registered in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the publication that you have modified. It expires after one day.

Content embedded from other websites

Items contained in this website can include integrated content (for example, vides, images, articles…). Integrated content from other websites acts in the same way as if visitors are visiting the website from which the content is taken. These websites can collect personal data, use cookies and third party tracking to track your interactions with the embedded content if you are registered with these websites.

Storage periods for data

If you leave a comment, the comment and associated metadata are saved indefinitely. This enables automatic recognition and approval of subsequent comments instead of directing them to the validation queue. In the case of registered users on our website (if this is possible), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. Users can view, modify or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception of their username). Site administrators can also view and modify this information.

Your rights on your data

If you have created an account or if you have left a comment on the website, you can ask to receive a file containing all of your personal data, including the data you have supplied. You can also ask that all personal data pertaining to you be deleted. This does not include data stored for legal or administrative purposes or for reasons of security.

Sharing of personal data

Visitor comments may be subject to verification by an automated detection service.
