• Supervise and coordinate the electrical engineering team.
• Design and develop panels, control systems, and electrical diagrams in accordance with applicable standards (CSA, NEC, UL, IEC).
• Select and size electrical components, prepare bills of materials (BOM), and ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the mechanical, production, and service teams to ensure system integration, validation, and reliability.
• Perform failure analyses and participate in new product development.
• Review, approve, and document engineering designs and modifications.
• Manage priorities, resources, and deadlines to optimize productivity and deliverable quality.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and cost reduction.
• Train and mentor team members, while staying abreast of new technologies and industry trends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As soon as possible

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering;
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), with full rights to practice and the ability to sign plans and specifications in Quebec;
• Relevant experience in power and control panel design or in a similar role;
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or other CAD software;
• In-depth knowledge of electrical standards (CSA, NEC, IEC, UL);
• Analytical mind, autonomy, and technical rigor;
• Experience in technical supervision and team management;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a collaborative environment;
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers;
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to interact with our English-speaking customers and suppliers;
• Knowledge of LEAN principles and a strong interest in continuous improvement.
