Technical Buyer

Job description:
Reporting to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, the Technical Buyer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Importing bills of materials (BOMs) into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring
the consistency of files transmitted by the engineering department; - Update and maintain supplier data, item records, and purchasing parameters in our
ERP system to ensure the accuracy and smooth running of the order creation and
data analysis process; - Participate in the prospecting, selection, evaluation, and monitoring of suppliers in terms of performance,
quality, price, and reliability; - Identify opportunities for cost optimization and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes;
- Prepare purchase orders to meet the needs of the company;
- Follow up on delivery times with suppliers and update purchase orders and delivery dates in the ERP system;
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the entire procurement cycle;
- Provide support to internal customers by responding to their needs;
- Provide support to your team as needed;
- Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:
- DEC or AEC in supply chain management or equivalent experience;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, as well as a good
knowledge of ERP/MRP systems or other relevant software; - Experience in manufacturing supply chain management (an asset);
- Experience in the refrigeration industry (an asset);
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with different departments;
- Good analytical skills, thoroughness, and initiative;
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
