We are looking for a:

Quality Inspector – Electrical

Job description:

Reporting to the QA, QC, and Continuous Improvement Manager, the Quality Inspector – Electrical will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Inspect refrigeration units using the appropriate validation documents;
• Ensure the quality of unit assembly and complete the required inspection reports;
• Consult and use drawings, specifications, and other relevant technical data;
• Work closely with production supervisors, the methods team, and engineering;
• Ensure compliance with the company’s established quality control procedures at every stage of production;
• Promote continuous improvement by proposing solutions to recurring problems;
• Provide training to employees as needed;
• Support other quality inspectors in their tasks as needed;
• Prepare, validate, and/or confirm end-of-project documentation;
• Track and address ongoing electrical revisions;
• Conduct performance tests, including those at 120V;
• Verify electrical sequencing to ensure proper component operation;
• Test controller programming sequences (Micro Thermo, Emerson, Danfoss, Selectech, etc.);
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:

• Hold a college or vocational diploma in electromechanics or wiring, or have equivalent experience;
• Complete UL 508A training before the end of the probationary period;
• Have significant experience in the field of refrigeration unit manufacturing (a plus);
• Have a strong sense of priorities and organizational skills;
• Knowledge of the principles of continuous improvement.
